The Pasta trio from Giordano !

Dear friends,

Here is a little post about a restaurant in Milan I wanted to talk to you about for months. So, a while back, we were struggling with my friend Gabb (who made me discover Al Porto, remember?) about where to eat well at a reasonable price in Milan. We wanted something a bit different from the usual spot. So Gabb decided to take me to a place called “Giordano Il Bolognese”, which is located off Corso Genova, in front of the Biciclette, a cool and low key bar. It is apparently super famous among Milanese tourists and residents.

I have to admit, I had probably some of the best pasta I ever ate in Milan that night (and the nights after). Giordano’s homemade pasta trio is simply delicious! There are as well some very good dishes in the restaurant like their tagliata di manzo or their grilled mushrooms. We even had a free myrto at the end with our coffee. The best part is that this place is quite a bargain where you can easily eat a pasta starter, a dish and enjoy some wine for less than 30€.

I can only recommend the place for a diner with some friends or with your family when visiting Milan. It is quite typical and the crowd is made mainly out of young international student and cool mid-30’s Italians (with enough old people to trust the place).

From Milan with love,

Mr. Nico
